Rollercoaster Recording is the Burbank, CA based personal studio of David Newton, founder guitarist/songwriter with Sire/Reprise band "The Mighty Lemon Drops" (amongst other less dubious things!). The following should hopefully give you an idea of what goes on at the Rollercoaster!

Sept 2006.... Rollercoaster regulars The Little Ones have signed to Heavenly / Astralwerks (thru EMI), & will continue to record their major label debut right here at the 'coaster with yours truly...... Kissing Tigers are back in recording three new songs for Slowdance.... look out for brand new Rollercoaster recorded CD releases from Slow Car Crash (The Trip We Planned), One Silver Astronaut (Scientific American), AM Session (Where We Know), Graham MacRae (On Your Marks EP) and the Astralwerks re-issue of The Little Ones "Sing Song EP", & also the final 2 X CD retrospective from The Lassie Foundation "Though And Through" features an excellent Rollercoaster recorded track that is close to our hearts.... also cd's from June In July, Red Lightning & ID & Ego due soon.... did anyone catch Big Stone City on ABC tv's "Star Tomorrow"??? .... finally Rollercoaster welcomes new project Wait Think Fast, an excellent new band in the vein of PJ Harvey, Radiohead, Neko Case.........
