Are You Looking To Buy A "T-Cup"?
The Honest Truth About
"Teacup" Chihuahuas

Special Articles
& Links

This site is dedicated to my Chihuahuas

Well here is a "teacup" for you. I hope you realize that this particular puppy is not going to live very long. This is a very tiny pre-mature puppy. It is probably a miracle that it is alive at all. You are looking at a "freak" of nature not a "teacup" ...Poor little one...How sad is this?;(

Why do I say this? Because of the puppy`s wideset eyes & oversize head. I am sure this one will have seizures or other complications. Read up on it. You have to be careful about what kind of "teacup" you buy. Get a puppy that will be at least 3 lbs if you just think you can`t live without a tiny one.

Will you pay the $1,200 the breeder is selling this puppy for? I feel sad for you, mostly because this puppy will break your heart when it suddenly dies on you..

Chihuahuas are Chihuahuas
regardless of size. There is no special "breed" called a "teacup" or otherwise. They have many different & unique looks to them outside the show standard.

Many of you are buying a tiny puppy because it is cute & have no idea what it will look like as an adult. All puppies are cute, but they go thru a lot of changes in their appearance as they get older.

It is best to buy an older pup when it comes to chihuahuas, but it is also hard to tell how nice one will look until after they go thru that funny looking stage, one ear up ,one ear down, both ears down, etc. They are usually teething & this usually corrects itself.

Some that you think will be short develop longer legs. The coat on longhairs are "blown out" which means they go thru a scraggly looking stage before their adult coat grows in. They may even turn hair colors on you. My Rocky went from being a totally chocolate & tan to black & tan as an adult!
He was 12 wks old when I bought him & didn`t change colors until he was about 5 months old.

Two puppies can be the same exact weight but one may look bigger than the other depending on height, width, length, etc. It all depends on body structure. Some Chihuahuas have smaller features than others. Some people think the taller daintier looking ones are smaller, others think the little short wider ones are smaller, or it can be the other way around depending on a person`s preference, yet they can be the exact same weight. So weight is not the only thing that should be evaluated. Most 2- 3 lb dogs that I have ever seen are merely malnourished & should be 4 lbs or more if fed the proper nutrition. Very rarely is there a "true" tiny. Usually there is somethng wrong with them that has caused them to be stunted..

These are just a few things to consider before you buy a puppy, so remember not to get it just because it is cute at 6-8 wks of age. They are ALL cute at that age :)

*Another important thing is that you cannot always tell how a puppy will turnout by looking at both parents, each is an individual & should be looked at as such. If you are lookng for a certain look,it is advised to look at parents, grandparents, siblings & so forth. This is not always possible since not all breeders have them available for you to look at:(
Of course if you are looking for a dog to show,it is very important that you are able to do this. But even then there is no guarantee that your puppy will turn out like them. To be more certain it would be advised to get one at least 4 months old or older,as long as it has been handled, loved & socialized the puppy shouldn`t have developed
any bad habits by then.Sometimes well mannered children are good for this purpose, other times
ill mannered rowdy kids will ruin a puppy & make it very hard to train:(

**For all of you Yorkie lovers ...I have available a teeny tiny 1 lb 2 oz 9 wk old puppy. She will be ready when she is at least 12 wks.old:) This one is spunky & healthy. I also have some nice healthy tiny Chihuahua puppies that you may want to look at!!

Well my theory on nutrition sure proved itself with her!:) You cannot rely on Chhuahua weight charts! I believe most any "tea-cup" Chihuahua can reach
at least 4 pounds when fed properly with the right nutrition in it`s early growing stages. I`ve yet to see a "fat" 2 lb Chihuahua! Send me your pictures,

Since The Topic On This Page Seems To Be So Popular, I Will Start Copying & Listing Some Of The Questions People Ask On The Search Engines To Come To This Site. This Is The Biggest Reason I Wish People Would Learn As Much As Possible About Chihuahuas Before They Get One: My Comments Are In ( ).
Here Are The Searches:

1. very tiny yorkies that fit in a teacup
(? newborn)

2. a child hit my chihuahua puppy (kids & tiny chihuahuas don`t mix, they can severely injure a tiny puppy. I knew of one that a child dropped & it had seizures resulting from the injury.)

3. personality of a chihuahua, what it means (personality of a human, what it means...please excuse my sarcasm here...but give me a break! :)) Hopefully they meant to ask what kind of personality does a Chihuahua have? (Read about the personalities of my dogs on my site to get an idea.)

4. 1.5 pound adult chihuahua (? the world record is 30 ounces)

5. my chihuahua shivers (Normal if nervous, intimidated, anticipating something or cold,
etc.)

6. average weight of an adult chihuahua
(6+ lbs is average for many.)

7. chihuahuas under stress and small children
(You cannot force a tiny chihuahua to co exist in the same household with small or young children,it does not work. I do not care what any other breeder tells you, they are lying or they just do not know from experience what can & usuallly does happen. I had a person with a family tell me about a tiny chihuahua they had which they discovered crushed to death under the sofa cushion. I am here to tell you the truth, nothing else. If you have kids, please get a bigger chihuahua (one that will be at least 6 lbs) or better yet a different breed altogether. You also have to be certain about the personality & temperment of the puppy. Do not get a very shy, quiet or nervous one, only a playful outgoing one if you have kids. A good breeder will let you know if the puppy has the right personality. The only problem with these kind of chihuahuas is that they are usually somewhat too active & independant. I suppose some people like that. I prefer mine more reserved & interactive in my life, although my newest little one BB is a real "livewire"! she has a great inquisitive & interactive personalty. She is also very ornery & demands her own way,she is very "alpha":0 She is becoming much better about her little "snappy" behaviour when it comes to food.
Some dogs, not just Chi`s have to be corrected early when it comes to being a little "snappy".
This type of personality in a Chi would not be good with kids that tend to tease a puppy. No puppies should ever be teased anyways!
It leads to dysfunctional dogs, especially Chihuahuas. A loving gentle hand is what Chihuahuas need, especially the very tiny ones.

8. is a 5 lb chihuahua healthier? (generally speaking, yes, but as in all cases a lot depends on genetics & sound breeding. A tinier one may also be healthy if it has not been deliberatetly malnourished or bred from a malnourished dam to keep it small. Inbreeding is also possible. Many things need to be considered before getting one of these under 3 lb dogs as some will need medical care the rest of their lives.) It is also a fact that some
3 lb Chihuahuas are just skinny & should actually be at least 5 lbs. You can`t completely go by weight you have to go by it`s frame (bone structure).

9. tiniest puppy dies (This is not uncommon,
many times the tiniest puppy is premature
in the litter & is not fully developed,in rare circumstances, with proper intensive care & knowledge a breeder may be able to save it,unless something is genetically wrong with it.)

10. chihuahua blood in stool (Take it to the vet, don`t wait around if you don`t know how to treat it. If it isn`t anything serious the vet will probably prescribe flagyl (metronidazole pills). It may be coccidiosis or giardia. Albon is also used for coccidiosis. You can also give small doses of pepto bismal or kaopectate along with flagyl if diarrhea is present, especially if it has mucous in it.
This is just a recommendation from my experience of raising animals over 25yrs. The dog or puppy should be taken to the vet to make sure it does not have parvo or anything else seriously wrong with it. You need to know the right dosages of medications. Never overmedicate. Don`t take chances with your pet`s life...) There is some information on dosages of medications on the last page of
my "Chihuahua Care Tips" articles.
Today someone asked about vomiting & bloody stools in Chihuahua puppies. TAKE THEM TO THE VET RIGHT AWAY!! OR YOU MAY LOSE THEM.

11. Can chihuahuas breed with siblings (?? inbreeding is not recommended for humans or animals, sooner or later deformities & other genetic problems start showing up. This breed has enough problems without adding to it. A few "ego" driven show breeders will sometimes do this to try & make the "perfect"
Chihuahua. They are harming,not perfecting.
They love their "achievements",not neccessarily their dogs. Same goes for money hungry puppy mill breeders that don`t care. Any questions for cloning?:[

12. When do Chihuahuas start barking? (Usually as a puppy,it is natural for them to bark. They bark at strange sounds, people & other dogs. They bark for attention.Sometimes they bark just to talk to you. They are a breed that is very alert to their surroundings. Once
in a while you may find a quiet one,but if you have more then one usually they will bark. If barking annoys you,do not get a Chihuahua,
or for that matter do not get a yorkie, doxie,
pomeranian, or any terrier breeds,as a lot of these are also natural barkers. Some more so.)

13. chihuahua puppies sleep (? with you in bed under the covers or near you in their own little bed, some even like or even prefer to sleep in a large dog crate with a bed or pillow & blanket in it,they consider it a safe haven or den, their own private little "home" to sleep in. Bedtime is a favorite time for my dogs. I give them a choice of sleeping options..:)

14. WHY DO CHIHUAHUAS LICK YOU CONSTANTLY (Because they are an emotional affectionate loving breed that love their owners. If you don`t like a dog that shows their devotion, get a more independant breed or a cat,not a Siamese cat though because they are very dependant on their owners also & some even show their owners a lot of affection by licking them too:) Sometimes a Chihuahua will lick you to let you know they are hungry, you have to discern what they want :) When I hug & kiss mine, (constantly!) of course they give kisses back!
They sometimes may also lick you out of nervousness. Do not get a Chihuahua if you do not want a pet that interacts with you & constantly wants to be a part of your daily life. It is not a dog that should be left alone for long hours at a time. A Chihuahua is not for you if you live too busy of a lifestyle...)

15. Raising chihuahuas outdoors (Why on earth would you even get Chihuahuas if you want to raise them outdoors! They are not outdoor dogs!! Do not get one if this thought is on your mind. Most likely this person is considering breeding them for profit only.
Questions like this makes me want to stop selling any puppies from my own breedings to the public;( how sad.)

16. Chihuahua choose food cook (Now these are the type of questions I like. I have a recipe of food I cook for my Chihuahuas on the last page of Chihuahua Care Tips & also a link to recipes on my Special Page.)

17. Puppy cute teacup ( Read these articles about "t-cups". For the people that ask specifically for "teacups" I wouldn`t trust you to care for "any" size dog, because I believe it is just a "fad" for you right now just because so many young celebrities are "exploiting" them. These people want the tiniest puppy they can find, mostly to show it off to their friends. They don`t realize the responsibility it takes to keep a very tiny one healthy. When they realize it takes too much effort they get tired of it. Dogs are not throw aways after you get tired of them, especially Chihuahuas since most become very attached & bond deeply with their owners.) Don`t get a Chihuahua just because it is cute, there are many,
many Chihuahuas out there that also need someone to love...

18. Why a chihuahua won't eat (Unless there is an underlying illness, some Chihuahuas won`t eat because they are very picky eaters. Try feeding them little cans like Mighty Dog. These same ones that you think won`t eat will eat foods like chicken, hamburger, sausage, hot dogs, steak, roast beef, cooked vegtables you name it - they love it as long as you are eating it! But dry dog food?they would rather starve themselves than eat a brand they don`t like. You would be surprised how much a little dog will eat of what they like! Make sure you check out what not to give them on the Chihuahua Care Tips page on my website.
Give them a variety of options, but make sure they eat dry food along with it. Also give them dog biscuits as a treat, especially if they won`t eat dry food. I have had some luck with mine eating Science Diet Lamb & Rice puppy formula, they also love Bil-Jac puppy.
They are real little manipulators so only give them alternatives if they are refusing to eat & look underweight. You may also give them some Nutri-cal or Nutri-stat (same thing) to boost their appetite. Always keep Nutri-cal on hand for emergencies, especially if you have a tiny puppy. Special note: If you give them things like hot dogs be sure you cook it first
& cut it up in very small pieces so they don`t "choke" on it since they have very narrow throats!!) Cooked chicken breast & rice is probably one of the safest foods you can give them. Every once in a while lean ground beef is OK. I do not suggest pork though. Please remember that this is only a recommendation for those that "refuse" to eat & these foods should not be fed on a continual basis! If worse comes to worse, try feeding them baby food. You cannot let Chihuahuas skip meals. They will get sick on you if they do. Check out more information from other breeders regarding this subject on
My Chihuahua Care Tips pages.

19. Do runts of dogs always stay smaller? (Generally no. As long as they are healthy, a lot of the time they catch up to the size of their siblings. Sometimes they may even outgrow them. )

20. Chihuahua for kids (If you have a very gentle good natured child that knows responsibility & has a genuine love for animals then a Chihuahua that will be at least over 4 lbs would be OK,otherwise Chihuahuas are NOT for kids! Why on earth would you find it necessary to give a "tiny" Chihuahua to a kid anyways? They are not toys. If you want a child to learn responsibility by having a pet,
you be the example by being responsible. A child shouldn`t have to go thru the heartbreak of your mistakes. A bigger happy, outgoing, friendly Chihuahua may work, but I suggest getting another breed if this is the first time you or your child has a pet. Some people say that their Chihuahua & kids get along just fine, they are lucky, because most often that is not the case. Most responsible breeders know if they have a puppy that can be placed in a home with kids & will tell you the puppy`s personality traits, others don`t care & will sell you one just for the money, without regard to whats best for you or the puppy.) This article is for the unlearned & not intended for people that
have a genuine love for animals & have experienced the joy & comfort a loving pet can bring into their lives. This is a natural gift. The key point here is to just be responsible & carefully look into all the positives and negatives about this breed. To hopefully get a puppy that you intend to keep in your family for the rest of it`s life, not just temporarily. I also realise that sometimes a puppy may not work out & it is a sad experience for both the family & the pet,so please don`t be hasty in your decision. Especially don`t try to buy the tiniest Chihuahua that you can find!

21. How to treat a 2 month old Chihuahua (? Like you would treat a young child. If you don`t know how to treat one,it is probably in your best interest not to get one right now. Read books on Chihuahuas to learn more about them. "Chihuahuas for Dummies" has been suggested by many breeders.)

22. Kinds of Chihuahuas ( No such thing. All are Chihuahuas even though they do come in a variety of different shapes, styles & sizes. Whether you like short ones, tall ones, slender ones, stocky ones, big ears, little ears, tall ears, long muzzle, short muzzle, narrow muzzle, wider muzzle, applehead,
semi-applehead,deer-head,domed head, even a "combination" of all these etc, etc, these are only descriptions about their "appearances". It is all a matter of a person`s personal preference. ALL are unique & beautiful, hopefully you just want one to love:) If a breeder tells you there is only one look to a Chihuahua, then they are lying or blind. I personally also believe they are doing a grave misjustice to this breed by introducing the "merle" coloring. Keep it for the australlian shephards! A lot of these poor dogs are going to end up in the humane societies. It`s really a shame. Some people are just not happy until they mess something up...

The AKC show standard basically calls for the cobby short muzzled applehead look. It seems that some show breeders have "introduced" some shorter muzzled breeds into the bloodlines to come up with this "perfect" standard. They are starting to look too "extreme"& have sinus difficulties like some of the pugs & similar breeds. If you look in some of the really old Chihuahua breed books you will find that the original Chihuahuas had more of the taco bell Chihuahua look.

Check out my pages just for The Cutest Chihuahuas on the web. You will see all the diversities in this breed! This is a MUST see if you want to know about the many types of Chihuahuas to choose from. This may help you decide what to look for in a Chihuahua.
I am always adding new pictures,so make sure you check out ALL the pages & links...
Thank you.

Here are what some Chihuahuas looked like in this rare 1935 photograph!! I have the original breed book this was in.

23. Chihuahua boredom (Chihuahuas need lots of interaction with their "humans",they are also happier if they have a "compatible" small dog companion, preferably another Chihuahua. If you can`t get a companion for yours, then make sure that he/she has lots of plush toys, rawhide chews,a little bed to sleep in,etc)

24. How much water do mini chihuahuas drink
(? Make sure you leave out a bowl of water & let them drink as much as they need. If you don`t think they are getting enough give them small amounts with a dropper. If they are dehydrated you may have to give them electrolytes. Ask your vet. Where do you people come from that ask these questions?
You need to educate yourselves before you even consider owning a dog....)

25. Chihuahua won't eat (Try giving something like hamburger, hot dogs or other enticing "people"foods to see if they will eat it. Also give them some Nutri-cal. If they still refuse to eat anything most of the day, sleep too much or go & hide, take them to the vet they are probably ill. There are many reasons they may refuse to eat. They could have a toothache, just be constipated,or have something seriously wrong with them. Don`t play around with your pet`s life take them to a vet if they continue to refuse to eat!)

26. Chihuahua puppy sleeps all the time (Give some Nutri-cal to make sure that it is not hypoglycemic. Keep Nutri-cal on hand at all times,it is a life saver. Give as directed on tube. Use it for emergencies. If necessary mix it in a spoon with a little warm water & give it with an eye dropper or a dose syringe (no needle!!) If puppy doesn`t perk up TAKE it to the VET...)

27. Sick newborn chihuahua puppies (This is really sad & I pray that the mama dog is OK,
because a lot of times if the newborns are sick so is the mama dog & you can lose all of them. This person should take them to the vet right away, not just for the babies sake but also to have the mama dog checked out. She could
be calcium deficient & they may all need intravenous fluids to save them. Breeding Chihuahuas is not easy.)

Here is someones Chihuahua story depicting
the trials & tribulations of a person raising Chi babies! Our Chihuahuas!
URL:http://www.geocities.com/BourbonStreet/3076/chi.html

28. Hitting Chihuahuas molera (This is something you have to be very careful about as you can permanently injure or kill your puppy or dog by accidently hitting it on the molera (soft spot on the head)!! This is also another good reason why some Chihuahuas are not good for kids.)

29. Breeding for size chihuahuas (? What size? Keep it to the standard of 3-6 lbs. A four or six pound healthy dog is the perfect size, no one needs anything smaller than that.
There are way too many irresponsible greedy people in this world that are only looking for a profit by claiming to breed "teacups". If the dog is really a tiny one,it is usually a sickly one. Most of the time what the breeders advertise as "teacups" will be about four or five pounds anyways,if not more. You can`t really tell the size of a Chihuahua until it reaches adulthood, even then I believe close to 3 years of age is when it is fully grown! It can start out tiny & get big or it can start out big & stay tiny. I have seen this happen many times over. Two tiny parents can produce a big puppy, which by the way, can kill the dam. Two larger parents can produce a very tiny puppy. It is all about genetics,if you don`t know enough about your dogs background & the sizes of every dog in both parents pedigrees then don`t mess with it or you will surely lose your dam. Lately all I have been reading about is people losing the mama dog, so take this as a warning...!!!

30. Chihuahua snippy ( Chihuahuas are generally the most lovable breed you can find, but If put in the wrong situation, yes some Chihuahuas will snap at you. Many are shy dogs by nature & do not like to go thru a lot of changes. Some may be "moodier" than others since they are a very emotional breed. You have to know your dog. Know it`s likes & dislikes. They don`t like being provoked by aggressive children, other dogs, adults or be forced into stressful situations. Occasionally they seek to have their own space & quiet time without a lot of disturbances. Many Chihuahuas are like this. Some are happy go lucky & not much bothers them,my Roxanne is that way. There could be a lot of reasons why some can be snippy, they may just not feel well & do not want to be bothered. If you just got the dog,you have to take your time to get it accustomed to you, some don`t take very well to strangers. It may have come from an abusive home. It may be grieving the loss of it`s owner if it was sold or given away at an older age. These dogs become very attached to their original owners & are not dogs that can handle the stress of forming new relationships over & over, they do not adapt as easily as other dogs. Chihuahuas are just NOT your typical dog...

31. why is my chihuahua puppy mean ( It may have not been handled enough as a baby. Some have a tendency to be this way if not socialized at a young age. It is their natural "wild" instinct to be this way This is why it is important to start handling a puppy in the beginning stages of it`s life, otherwise it will tend to be withdrawn & scared of people & unfamiliar surroundings. This is especially true if the mamma dog is also a nervous type.
You will have to handle this puppy as much as possible with a gentle touch. You have to gain a trust & bond with it. You have to come to the puppy`s level & not make sudden movements towards it. Like I said before,Chihuahuas are NOT your typical dog. If your puppy is just being play aggressive, you will have to curb it with "firm" but "gentle" discipline. Do not let it get away with aggressive behaviour. You have to be in charge, not the dog. Do not let it exhibit "alpha" tendencies. Look up information on dominant "alpha" behaviour in dogs. Most Chihuahuas are very sweet if bred & raised properly. Usually when you have a very sweet,
good natured mamma dog,the puppies follow suit as long as they are handled when young.

Here are some breed "reviews" by some Chihuahua owners:
Url Address:
http://www.hoflin.com/BR/Chihuahuas

32. My chihuahua is not eating (This is really sad because if the dog/puppy is not sick you can find ways to get it to eat, even if you have to turn it`s food into liquid & spoon feed it! Read my previous comments about this subject. If the dog/puppy cannot eat,
TAKE IT TO THE VET. Please go to the articles on My Chihuahua Care Tips pages, you can find a lot of answers there.

33. Chihuahua ears ( Some Chihuahuas ears may not stand up. Occasionally if your puppy has larger or taller ears it may take a while for them to come up. They may even have to be taped if you want to ensure erect ears at adulthood. Some Chihuahuas just have "expressive" ears! They may be erect one day, sideways the next, half folded, etc. Some Chihuahuas ears just may never come up:( Chihuahua owners know what I am talking about :)

34. my chihuahua is scared of people (Please read my articles. It is a natural instinct for some Chihuahuas to be this way. I have been trying to relate this information to the readers of my site. A chihuahua is a "small" dog & "big" things intimidate them, that includes people & big dogs. You have to come to the dog`s level of thinking to understand why they have this behaviour. Just like putting yourself in someone else`s (your dog`s?) shoes for an example...do you get it? Do you have the capacity to understand? I truly hope so...

35. Chihuahua 1 lb (an average 7 week old chi puppy may weigh this much or more. Do you really want a dog that is this small? I don`t. The burden would be too heavy. They don`t come this small anyways. If you do by any chance find one of these this small,be advised that it is not going to live very long. Is that what you people want? Why don`t you people think? The one`s that are sold as "teacups" will usually average 3 or more pounds. Do you really understand how little that is? I don`t think so. Actually the weight is not what you go by anyways. You go by the size. It can be a short 3 lb`er or a tall 3 lb`er. Most of the time a 3 lb chihuahua
is undernourished for it`s frame. Most likely because it is a picky eater. Are you getting the point yet? Or are you all a bunch of self centered Paris Hilton wannabe`s or what?
How sorry!

36) What type of chihuahua does paris hilton have. (This search question shows just how true my previous statement was!!!: There is nothing special about Paris Hilton`s Chihuahua Tinkerbell, she just paid more for a lesser quality dog. You can find much cuter ones for a whole lot less money, but you are not going to find a decent one cheap:( )

37) How do you make teacup dogs? (They pop out of vending machines! {sarcasm}
You don`t try. The general public does not know how to properly care for these tiny flukes of nature. They have to be constantly looked after to make sure they do not injure themselves. They have to live in a sheltered guarded situation constantly. Do you have the time & patience to do this for the life of the dog? If you are a growing family or a young person,or other individual that has constantly changing circumstances in your life, this breed is just NOT for you. I am relating this information to people because this is just the plain & simple truth...Sorry:( )

IT HAS COME TO MY ATTENTION THAT
TOO MANY "BREEDERS" ARE LOSING THEIR FEMALES GIVING BIRTH. NOT JUST THE TINY SIZE MAMAS,BUT EVEN THE AVERAGE SIZE ONES. THIS DEEPLY SADDENS ME:(

YOU CANNOT BREED TWO DOGS JUST BECAUSE THEY ARE BOTH SMALL OR JUST BECAUSE YOU HAVE A TINY MALE. YOU
MUST DO RESEARCH ON BOTH PARENTS THRU MANY MANY GENERATIONS & KNOW ALL THE SIZES. EVEN THEN IT IS POSSIBLE A BIGGER SIZE DOG WILL SHOW UP SOMEWHERE IN THE BLOODLINES. IT IS ALMOST IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND ALL TINY ONES IN THE BLOODLINES. IF YOU DON'T DO THE RESEARCH YOU WILL RISK LOSING YOUR FEMALE. IT IS BEST NOT TO BREED THESE TINY ONES AT ALL. WHY TAKE CHANCES?

IF THEY HAVE A DWARFING GENE,THERE IS ALSO A CHANCE THAT A NORMAL SIZE PUPPY WILL SHOW UP & THUS CREATING A LIFE & DEATH SITUATION FOR YOUR FEMALE DURING DELIVERY.

THERE ARE MANY OTHER LIFE & DEATH SITUATIONS THAT HAVE TO BE CONSIDERED DURING & AFTER LABOR.
MUCH RESEARCH HAS TO BE DONE. EVEN THEN IT IS POSSIBLE TO LOSE A PRECIOUS LIFE THRU OUR OWN CARELESSNESS.

NO,THIS IS NOT AN ACT OF GOD OR HIS WILL. GOD DOES NOT PUT THE TWO DOGS TOGETHER TO BREED WE DO.
THIS IS OUR FAULT.

ALL OF YOU SEEKING THESE SUPER TINY DOGS ARE MAKING IT EASY FOR THE EXPLOITATION & MISHANDLING OF THIS BREED. IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR A LOVING PET A POUND OR TWO REALLY MAKES NO DIFFERENCE. ONLY THE MONEY HUNGRY WILL TAKE THE CHANCE OF KILLING THEIR DAM BY BREEDING DOGS UNDER 3 LBS.
THESE DOGS ARE NOT THROW AWAYS JUST FOR YOUR PLEASURE:(

I HAVE COME ACROSS COUNTLESS WEBSITES & ADS THAT HAVE STATED LOSING THEIR DAMS WHILE GIVING BIRTH.
IT HAS ALSO HIT HOME WITH ME,WHEN I RECENTLY FOUND OUT ONE OF NIKKI & LIGHTFOOT`S PUPPY I SOLD A FEW YEARS AGO WAS BRED & DIED GIVING BIRTH LAST MONTH. IT IS ALSO MY LOSS & GRIEVES ME.

HERE IS THE STORY OF MY LOSS;

IT HAS ALSO COME TO MY ATTENTION THAT A LOT OF PEOPLE ARE SELLING OR GIVING AWAY THEIR CHIHUAHUAS WHEN THEY REALIZE THEY DON'T GET ALONG WITH THEIR KIDS, FAMILY MEMBERS,FRIENDS
OR OTHER PETS. SOME CHIHUAHUAS ARE JUST LIKE THIS. YOU SHOULD BE FULLY AWARE OF THIS BEFORE YOU BUY ONE.

For example here is an ad wanting to sell a Chihuahua,Why? She has already become bonded to this person. Why is this person abandoning the love of this dog? Is it because she is too small to breed? She thinks she is doing this dog a favor? She is only doing "herself" a favor by relinquishing her responsibility to this dog. I am really gettng discouraged & disgusted with all of this...

Milly is a very small chihuahua girl that is house trained and crate trained. She has been a family pet since the day she was born and is used to using a doggy door. Milly goes outside and plays when I am in the yard and never roams away., she stays right by my side.
I want Milly to have a special one on one home with someone special. She used to be with me all the time but can't be anymore and needs her own person at her side. She is very happy to sit with you in the chair and surely loves her snacks of boiled chicken and other goodies like cheese that she is used too.
Milly is too small to breed so I want her in a companion home only. Of course she is up to date on shots and worming as well as her heart worm meds every month. She would be ideal for the person that does not want to go through the house training but would have the time to devote to her.
She is 18 months old. PET HOME ONLY Please contact me for pictures and when I get some new ones in the next couple of days I willl post them. Right now I only have ones of her playing with the other chi's.

SO IF YOU ARE INTERESTED IN A CHIHUAHUA PLEASE TAKE HEED TO EVERYTHING I AM TRYNG TO GET ACROSS TO PEOPLE THRU THIS WEBSITE...
