I am a small hobby breeder of long
& shorthair Chihuahuas, occasionally
raising between 1 to 3 litters of
puppies a year.
I have been in love with this breed ever
since I bought my first one 12 years ago! :)
I have 25+ years experience in breeding dogs,cats & exotic pets along with basic knowledge in many aspects of animal health care.
My Chihuahuas are very nice quality and
make perfect loving companions.
I strive for puppies with exceptionally
calm (non hyper!)
dispositions,
that are sweet natured & easily trainable
with charming personalities! Puppies that will bring
as much joy into your life as they have brought into mine...
My puppies are sold between 9-12
weeks of age,depending on size.
They are given at least 2 sets of
vaccinations before they go to
new homes.
I do not include Leptospiria
in my vaccination program due
to anaphylactic reactions.
I make sure my puppies are eating good.
I like to start them on litter box / paper
training & outside also(weather permitting):)
My Chihuahuas range from 2 to 12 years
of age. The adults I use to breed weigh an
average of 4½ thru 6 pounds. PLease do
not buy from someone that breeds females
under 4 lbs. They do not care about risking their dog`s life. Only after a very careful research
of the genetic backgrounds of both parents
can a female barely under 4 lbs ever be bred.
If at all. I prefer not to risk the life of my dog.
I have had all of my dogs since
they were just puppies. They are
bred for their sweet looks,intelligence &
have always had happy,healthy puppies
with a personality you can`t help
but fall in love with!
They usually average between
3 - 6 pounds full grown.
Of course! they live with me
in my home,they are my life, these are
awesome little dogs!! I am totally devoted
to them. There is just no other way I would
want to raise these precious dogs!
They want to be so much a part of everything
that goes on in our lives, how could anyone
deprive them of that & raise them in kennels or
seperate housing & say they are part of
their family?? I feel it is a privledge to
own & be owned {smile:)} by these
wonderful loving dogs...
They are treated and act just like "little people!"
I hand raise their babies likewise in my home,
until they find just the right new family that will
love & care for them unconditionally ...
They will be either AKC
or APRI registered.

*Prices start at $500 & up depending on size & quality of each puppy. I believe this is fair & reasonable considering the high risk of breeding these precious dogs, veterinary & general care costs.

Due to the sad news I learned today about one of my sold pups dying in giving birth, from now on unless discussed otherwise, my female puppies will be sold only on a limited spay contract... Sorry:(

making payments if necessary.
I do not ship very tiny puppies. A responsible breeder will not ship you a very tiny puppy,as it is very prone to hypoglycemia along with stress & may
expire soon after reaching you.
This is just a warning to persons wanting a very tiny puppy ;(

I have done this over a long period
of time so that you may gain thorough
knowledge about the Chihuahua
breed before you buy one..
These are extremely loyal-
sensitive-unique special little
companion dogs.They are not
for everybody.
They demand all of your
attention,just like little children.
Chihuahuas are very dependant on
their "humans" :)
They form a very close bond with
their owners. They need persons
with a gentle touch & do best in a
peaceful surrounding without a lot
of loud noises (or people:-))
Despite what other breeders my tell
you,some Chihuahuas do not take to
people outside of their family. This
does not mean they are not friendly!
Some just bond more closely to their
owners & see others as a threat.
They are very territorial little dogs.
Especially if you have more than one.
This is just their nature.
When they realize the person is ok,
they will accept them & show them lots
of affection. Sometimes this may take
a while, sometimes right away.
Sometimes in rare cases they just won`t
trust or accept other people :( A lot depends
on the person & the situation.
Some Chihuahuas are sweet & friendly
& accept everybody. Some are in between
the two extremes. It does not necessarily
always relate to the way they are socialized.
It does help though to get them accustomed
to different situations while they are still
young,but never "force" them to accept
anything against their nature,you will do
them more harm than good :(
I realize not everyone knows how to form a close
bond with their pets,so If you do not have enough
time to share your life with one of these special dogs,
if you do not like a dog that prefers to sleep under
your blanket with you...then please
do yourself and the dog a favor &
do not buy a Chihuahua! Thank You.
