HEADQUARTERS - THE U.S.C.T. LIVING HISTORY BRIGADE

"These Men Shall Not Be Judged By The Color Of Their Skin ... But, By The Color Of Their Uniform, Their Strong Presence, And, Most Of All ... By The Color Of The Blood That They Shed On The Field Of Honor!!!"

WELCOME .... to the Headquarters of the U.S.C.T. "Brigade"!! This web site is not dedicated to any one particular unit, but is a database & Listing of re-activated U.S.C.T., & related re-enactment units currently in the field. This database is also not limited to Federal units, as any known active Confederate units which included "men of color" amongst their ranks, will also be included within

Despite their storied place in the annals of the War Between The States, the role of the "colored" troops has too often been pushed to the side, & virtually ignored! Unfortunately, there are too few units in today's ever growing re-enacting field which do portray these brave men & women! With this web page, I hope to be able to create a central location, in which those seeking to know more about today's existing re-enactment & living history units, can easily access, & acquire the needed information! Most of all, I wish for it to be a place where ALL those interested in joining the ranks of these modern Yanks & Rebs, can easily find a unit close enough to their home, that they may also experience history as they NEVER have before!!

History is yours to grasp ... If only you reach out for it TODAY!!!
