About me
My name is Doug Williford and this is my page. I was given the nickname Dugferd by a college friend and I've been using it ever since. It is a combination of my first and last names, in case you could not guess. Why not DugfOrd? I don't know. She came up with the spelling, too.
Speaking of college, I studied music and music education at Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond, Virginia. My main instrument was/is the saxophone. I was also involved in a group called InterVarsity Christian Fellowship, where I helped lead music in worship and led a Bible study small group. I made a lot of friends there, many of which were also in the music department.
I currently live in Richmond, but I grew up in Stafford, VA, where I was graduated from North Stafford High School in 1987. I now work for a radiology group in the billing office where I specialize in medical procedural and diagnostic coding.
On this page you will find links to homepages of some of my friends, links to various websites In which I am interested, and a bunch of topical lists ( mostly "my favorite things" type lists.) Since this page is about me, why not? I'm new at this page building stuff anyway. As I think of more things to put here (better list topics, etc.) I will do so. E-mail me and tell me what you think.
