2009 Recharter complete:
we are rechartering with the same aprox number of scouts and adults as last year (70/35), but the floodgates are already opening as we have already received new scouts into our troop, and crossover season is still a couple months away.
2009 Summer Camp Staff
the 2008 staff got together for a holiday party, and it looks like many of the staff will be returning this summer, including most of the scouts from our troop contingent. Will several new troop members putting in applications, we may be close to a dozen 375ers working at camp this year!
Spring Break Bike Trip
Now is the time to get your bike ready for our big 200 miler. It needs to be a mountain bike , with 15 speeds or so. The aprox 100.00 models at K-Mart/Wal-Mart are fine. We will doing bike inspections in February, and 2 practice trips in March, including the REQUIRED practice the last weekend in March.
Pinewood Derby Season
Troop 375 can usually be found this time of year helping with pack, district or council pinewood derby races. See Mr. Kelly if you are interested in giving a hand, and thank you for your service.
Scoutmaster's conferences are given every Thursday PRIOR to 6:15PM
Board of Review night is almost always the troop meeting following the committee meeting/PLC meeting (usually the 4th Thursday). Boards are given once a month, exceptions for Scout and Eagle ranks.
If you miss the board of review night, you must wait until the following month, unless it is an extraordinary circumstance.
Mr. Kelly is now in charge of all things concerning MERIT BADGES. (counselors, blue cards....) Please see him and put him to work.
