Toni Tells Of How She Sustained Her Brain Injury

On November 13th 1995 at 11:10am in the morning my life changed forever. My family and I were heading home from visiting some very dear friends.
It was cool, and damp that morning, but it was still a nice day. The next thing I new I was a stranger in a strange world.
I had a husband, and two children I new nothing about. It was, and still is at times a nightmare. My past was gone, and still till this day I am unable to remember getting married, and I don`t even remember the birth of my children.
They say that a person`s memories can not be lost or taken away. If that is so, than why can`t I remember the two things that are most precious to me? My wedding day, and the birth of my children.
It is because I was in a automobile accident in which I sustained a brain injury, and by the grace of God I am a brain injury survivor!!
