TYGER'S NEWS DIARY FOR JULY 16, 1999
GRRRREEETINGS EVERYONE!
I've had some nice feedback from readers that you enjoyed my new page. I want to thank everyone for the email and the cat pictures you sent me and hope you will continue to visit this site. I remember a time when I was a teenager, I had a striped tiger cat named Suzy. She had double paws on both her front and hind paws. She had amazing powers of balance and learned how to sit up on her hind paws and beg. She was a funny cat. When her water dish was empty, she had a very unique way of letting me know. She would climb up on the kitchen sink and lick the drips from the water faucet! She also used to like to climb up on my back and use it for her bed when I was laying down on my bed. She had a very unique personality. In fact, I have discovered over the years that there are no two cats alike. Each cat has his or her own distinct personality. It makes life very interesting. The best time of all during my teen years was when we travelled. I had 7 cats and a small dog at the time. Mom and I would ride in the car with the entire gang. Most of the cats would lay in the rear window of the car, generating appreciative stares from passing cars and pedestrians. It made me feel so proud. Those 7 cats travelled all the way to California and back by car with my mother and me in 1971! (That was, by the way, a 3000 mile cross-country trip from the state of Rhode Island!) They loved staying at the various motels and meeting all the people. And they NEVER damaged anything, as they were all very well behaved! My cats go in style. They get the best of everything! Have a nice weekend, cat-lovers!!! Your Friend, TygerStar079
