TYGER'S DIARY DECEMBER 28, 1999
New Year's Resolutions
This is the time of year when we all try to think of our New Year's Resolutions; things we hope to try to do better during the new year. Here at TygerStar Tabby's den, the cats have made some very interesting resolutions for this brand new millennium. Misty's resolution is to be kinder to SnowPuff this year. She's always getting cross with him and hitting him with her paw when he tries to cuddle down on the bed near me. It's as if she doesn't want to share her space with him. So she'll swipe him in the face and get him all upset. This year she has resolved to be nicer to him and not hit him. SnowPuff's resolution is to eat more and not be so fussy about the food he eats. He has a tendency to be a very finicky cat. He won't always eat the food that is placed in front of him. But this year he has promised to do better. Tang's resolution is to be more tolerant of picture-taking sessions and not growl and spit and bite at everyone in site, which he has always done in the past. Well, we have our doubts about this one. But we'll see how he makes out! Last but not least, Mother Keedie's resolution is to lose some weight this year. She's a big eater and since she was spayed, she's become rather fat and lazy. She plans to eat less fattening foods and exercise more in the new year. Afterall, it's not healthy for a cat (or a human either, for that matter) to be too fat. Those are the New Year's resolutions we've made at our den this year. How about you? Have you made your resolutions? Although, resolutions aren't easy to keep, if you take it one day at a time and don't expect to move mountains in a single day, you can hope to achieve success with a little patience and will power. Have a Happy New Millennium from all of us here at Tyger's den! And good luck with those resolutions! Keep on trying! We wish you much success, and a healthy and prosperous new year.
