THE MERCAT

Like to imagine funny looking animals for Halloween? Some might be scary or some might be cute and funny. Well, I thought of a silly idea. Of course, bear in mind, this couldn't happen. It's just a funny story idea. If my calico cat mated with a goldfish, we would then have a mercat, er, catfish, which would have the head, neck, chest, and front legs of a calico cat, but with skin and scales and calico cat colors of black, orange, and white, cat ears and eyes, nose, and mouth, but also fish gills, and the back half of the body would be goldfish with fins, scales, gold coloring, and a fish tail instead of a cat's tail. Just remember your mermaid myth. Well, this would be a merCAT! This mercat would swim in the sea and be able also to breathe air. It would be a fearsome creature with it's cat's teeth and front claws to deal with, plus the cat's personality to growl, hiss, and spit when threatened. But I think it would also be quite cute for a Halloween trick or treat creature! Just my funny way of adding to the fun of Halloween! I hope you enjoyed it. See you next time!
