Accomplishments

March,1993--He appeared, three times, in the finale of the offf Broadway Play "Pets" at the Judith Anderson Theatre.
April,1993--Our Local Newspaper ran a story,with a picture about Jimmy and it was on the front page...the heading was "Santa Dog Delivers"
August,1993--He appeared in a Long Island Paper, "Newsday", with my ex-husband, who was going to be one of the first Veterans admitted to the New Veterans Nursng Home, on L.I.
And, Jimmy was the first dog to visit this new place..
September,1994-- another local newspaper had a column "People Partners" and they ran a story and picture.
July 18,1995-- He was tested and passed the "Canine Good Citizen" test, with no formal training.
July 21,1995--I had to take him to a Nursing Home, to be tested for "Therapy Dogs Inc", this made him a Certified Pet Therapy Dog.
April, 1996--His Angel picture and a story were published in Dog Fancy Magazine.
June10,1997--Real TV showed a tape, of Jimmy in various costumes.
1997-- Jimmy became the mascot of a local Radio Show,"Pet Talk". And he was invited to be on the radio for the anniversary shows, which were every 13 weeks. And yes he did "Talk", as a matter of fact had quite a bit to say. If he is asked a question, he will answer--AWOO
October,1997-- He was the "Special Guest" of Susan Marino's Natural Care Animal Expo
November1997-- We were invited to the Tree Lighting in Massapequa Park, a few towns east of of where we live. It was very crowded, but he managed to get invited by, the County Executive, to go up on stage..Which he liked very much, because now he could see everyone in the crowd.
That night the Head of the Merchants Board, asked if he could lead "The Tots Parade" the following Saturday. He wore his Santa suit and did indeed lead all the children that wore candy costumes, which was the theme.
April 5,1998--He appeared with Warren Eckstein on - NBC "Today in N.Y."
April 28,1998--We were invited to be on the Maury Povich Show, this show was taped, and aired on 5-19-98.
May 23,1998--Again, he appeared with Warren Eckstein on NBC "Today Show National" live..
August, 1998- Jimmy worked on a commercial for a non-profit organization we belong to called Bide -A-Wee. The commercial aired in October, and is still being shown.
October,1998--He was asked to be "The Animal Ambassador" for Echanted Connections Second Annual--Natural Care Animal Expo,
By the way, Jimmy does enjoy all of the above activites, otherwise, I wouldn't let him do it..This boy just loves life, and likes to have fun...
