Rockefeller Center-N.Y.C.

For quite a few years, I used to take Jimmy to visit the Big Tree at Rockefeller Center. I would call the Limo company in November and book the Limo for the Saturday night before Chritmas. We usually went with another person,or persons.
When the Limo pulled up in front of our house, Jimmy would go crazy, couldn't wait to get in the car. The driver would let him in, while I lccked the house up. And from the first time in a Limo, Jimmy took the seat behind the driver.. Hence known as "his seat."
One year we stopped at F A O Schwart, and we went in the "Store of Toys". Jimmy was very interested in all these toys, but touched nothing.people were in awe as to how well he behaved. (of course he was wearing his Santa Suit and Hat) so he had to make a good impression..
Then it was off to the Tree. Limo's all over the area, people from all parts of the world, it was extremely crowded. The nice part of this, was Jimmy would make his way through the crowds and people would move aside to let Santa Dog through.
Our goal was to watch the Ice Skaters. Again people four deep, watching. All of a sudden, they would feel a nose on their leg, and realize it was him, and they would part to let him through. Well once he got to the front row, he put his feet on the lower rail, and tucked his head under the upper rail. He was very curious about watching the Ice Skaters below, His little head moving as the people skated around the Rink below.Every once in awhile, he would turn around to me, as if to say, "This is Fun"
After he was done with this,we would walk around awhile, people smiling at him, and you would hear people saying "Did you see the dog in the Santa Suit?"People took pictures with him, and of him. His pictures have to be all over the world.. I remember one lady put her shopping bags down, to come over to have her picture taken with him...Some people would ask if their child or children could take a picture with Jimmy, and he was always willing to do this. He is such a" Ham"
No matter who we went with, everyone had a good time. One year, a friend counted, over One Hundered people took pictures of Jimmy. So this is "Our Christmas Story"
