msnTv Viewer Activate Scrapbook And Uploading Images To be able to upload images to your scrapbook, you must first activate it. To activate your scrapbook you must first accept the license agreement and create a web page. The page doesn't have to be about anything you can just create a "Test Page." Go to your home page Click on "More" Click on "Page Builder" You will see an Introductory Page Click on "Continue" You will see the license agreement, read it and if you agree with the terms .. Click on "I accept" (at the bottom) Click on the Grey page. *NOTE* if you wish to "change" your backgrounds from what msnTv offers you must choose the Grey background. It is located on page 2 of your choices. *Also-If you plan to keep this page you will want to follow these instructions at NS Fix. Don't forget to hit your "back" button to return here for further instructions. Click on "Add an item" Click on Text write something in the box Click on "Done" Click on Publish (on the left) Click on "Done". *NOTE* Always remember to click on done. You have now activated the scrapbook. If you wish to discard your "Test Page" Click on Index (on the left) Click on your published page Then click on "Discard page" Confirm Discard You have now removed the test page and obtained the ability to use your Scrapbook. Uploading Images Here's one easy way to remove images from a web site and upload them: Set a shortcut key F1 through F7 .. Just organize your Favorites Page where you have saved WebScissors. MSNTv/WebTv has Step by Step instructions for setting your shortcuts. Go to Dreamwork Designs. Find the page that you want to borrow. Go to .. WebScissors .. If you have come directly there after viewing the page, you can press "show last URL" If not, type in the web page address, the URL Press "Show Images" You will now see all the images from that web page. Click on whatever image you want to upload. The image goes directly to your Scrapbook! You may will now be transported into your scrapbook. If you want more than one image from the page, press the "back" key on your keyboard. Continue repeating these steps until you have obtained all of the images from the set. *Note* Always upload the designers and artists logo in order to link them onto your page giving proper credit, it is illegal not to. If your backgrounds were not picked up, go to the page at Dreamwork Designs that you have chosen and click on the link that says "pick up the tiles for borders" This is your backgrounds. Repeat above procedure. Using the webscissors to obtain the background that matches your set. Upload From An Email * WebTV Sidebar Uploader * When you open an e-mail with a picture attachment, you will see the Scrapbook Feature on the left sidebar. This feature will not appear unless you have first activated your Scrapbook and only if the attachment is an image file, not sound. WebTv does not "yet" have storage for music. *NOTE* I have found that it is best to ask your friends to send pictures in .jpg or .gif file as an attachment. Click on "Scrapbook" in your left side bar. Click on "Add to Scrapbook." The image attachment will now be in your Scrapbook. Choose Next to learn how to link these images from the scrapbook for placing them on your webpage.
