We are currently in our 59th year as an ARRL club, the date of our charter being Dec. 28, 1949. Meetings are held 2nd Thurs. at 7pm at Spies Public Library in Menominee. We are active in the Skywarn weather reporting system, and recognized by both Menominee and Marinette county Emergency Government coordinators, for our communications abilities and service.
Beside being a social and community minded club, we have also developed a contest segment within the membership. We have won major awards in both the MI and WI qso parties for several years running. Our current membership stands at 60+. A newsletter, the Ground Wave is published monthly. View it online by clicking on the above link.

M&M ARC operates two repeaters...the 147.000+, and the 444.075 repeater. Both use our club call, W8PIF. Many social activities are planned during the year, including picnics, fish fries, dinners, campouts, antenna projects, a corn roast, swapfest, and more. We also participate in Field Day the last weekend in June. Our club also holds regular VE sessions, and license classes, depending on interest. Two new projects started in 2006 include the H.A.T. team (Ham Assistance Team) and the D.A.R. Boys & Girls Club ham radio room. Both are very successful.

We are proud of our long standing tradition in the local amateur community, and the great support we have had from our members over the years. We look forward to continued excellence as we continue in the 21st century. Want to join our club? Send e-mail to. . . . .
KG8CX or write to us at P.O. Box 1082, Marinette, WI 54143. Enjoy the following pictures of our club activities. New ones will be added regularly, and additional club info updated as needed.
**Many thanks to KC8DOA for allowing our 2 meter repeater/antenna to be located on his tower site, and to Bay Area Medical Center, for the space to locate our 444.075 repeater/antenna. We appreciate the generosity of both.
