WILLIAM HENRY EZELL, (Father of Curtis Tanger Ezell)
William Henry Ezell was a very tall man,and thin in size with
very large hands and a mustache on his upper lip looking lighter
in color than his hair which looked black by a picture taken of
him with his son Curtis Tanger Ezell and Daughter Minnie Ezell
who later married a Brewton, and also his wife Roxanna Cobb, all
setting on a log dressed up.
William Henry Ezell was born March 1855, Florida and died
May 6, 1915 Pensacola, Florida. His father was Jesse Ezell and
his mother Anna Eliza. Wells, it was said by William Eugene Ezell
the son of Curtis Tanger Ezell, that his grandpa was a logger
and what was told to him William Henry came home after a hard
days work and feeling exhausted went to lay down where he later
died.

ROXANNA COBB, wife of William Henry Ezell
Roxanna was married to William Henry Ezell who later died 6 May 1915
she was later found living with her daughter Minnie Ezell who was
married to George Brewton,in Baldwin County of the year 1920.
I was told by Preston Lee Ezell my Uncle that he was inform that
she had Indian blood in her and thought it Perhaps the Creek tribe.
The Creek tribe formerly living in Alabama,Georgia, and North Florida
now living in Oklahoma, perhaps thats were the black hair and wide
nose and dark skin came from on Curtis Tanger Ezell her son.
After looking at the Census Feb.1920 her age is 59 and born Florida,
and her Mother born Florida, but her Father only shows him born the
United States. I have a pictograph which shows her sitting on a log
with her husband and two children, she has a long white dress and
in her right hand is said to be a Bible, her hair I conclude was black
and parted in the middle perhaps tied in back, and also a thin body.
