VENUS MARIE DETIEGE, Daughter of JoAnn Ezell
Venus DeTiege was born May 14,1981, in Mobile Alabama, she is the daughter of Gary John DeTiege born July 19, 1947, and JoAnn Ezell born June 10, 1954. It was Dec. 26,1994, at her Uncle Dannys house, that she told me that on her first day at Martz School, she was crying, and it was here she felled the first grade, but the second time made A's. It was 1994 she attend Alba Middle School, and made A, and B, honor roll. Venus, has a half brother name Jesse William Jann born Jan.18,1977, and a other half brother name Michial Gobin, he was 25 years old in
1991. Venus's grandmother Loretta, said all of her people are of the Catholic Church, and their ancestors are of Indian, French, and Spanish blood. Venus's grandfather was William A. DeTiege, the son of David DeTiege born in Quebec, Canada. It was said by Loretta, that David DeTiege ran away from home at the age of 12, and settled at Morgan City, Louisiana.
Venus, has two Uncles on her fathers side and one Aunt, their names are Jerry DeTiege, Terry DeTiege, and Vivian Marie DeTiege. Venus's grandmother Loretta DeTiege was born July 22, 1923, Mobile Alabama. She is the daughter of Leo Hickman and Pauline Collins (born 1904, and died 1980 ). Leo Hickman is said to have Indian blood,as recalled by Loretta DeTiege. Pauline Collins born 1904, was the daughter of Mary Lauradean, and John Collins, Mary Lauradean was of France descended. Venus DeTiege's great grandmother Pauline Hickman was living next door to JoAnn Ezell, and Gary DeTiege, when she fell dead, after hearing what happened JoAnn, and Gary,rushed over and tried to help.
Eleven months later Arther Hickman her son died of a heart attack. Pauline Hickmans other children was Allen, Kenneth, Maurice, and Doublet, but it was from Loretta Hickman that Venus DeTiege Descended
Venus DeTiege's mother JoAnn Ezell, was killed in a car accident off Halls Mill Road. Inpact occurred sixty-seven feet east of the west shoulder of Alden Drive and eleven feet north of the south shoulder of Halls Mill Road. The car she was driving was a 1980, four door station wagon, pontiac. The other vehicle was a Truck Tractor, with attached Semi Trailer, from New Orleans.
JoAnn, was born 10th June 1954 and was first married to William Jann, there first child was a boy name Jesse William Jann who was born in Mobile Alabama 18th January 1977, after a Devorice she later married Gary DeTiege who was the son of Willie A.
